Rubrics are a great way to set expectations for your students in terms of how you will mark an evaluation as well as provide fair and consistent feedback. There are two types of rubrics you can create, analytic and holistic. The analytic rubric has the option to evaluate on multiple criteria, while a holistic rubric evaluates on a single criteria only. The majority of rubrics are analytic.
This session shows how to create analytic and holistic rubrics within your course.
