Brightspace live course shells with students enrolled are available once classes are scheduled in PeopleSoft. This is typically a few weeks before the start of each semester.
To prepare your courses in Brightspace in advance of this, you can request course development shells and copy content to the live shells once they are available.
A course development shell is a Brightspace course shell for all faculty developing and designing content for their courses. It is used to prepare a course in advance of copying to a live course shell. There are no students enrolled in this shell.
